Horst I know how you feel.
THANKS :-)
Doesn't that indicate acronyms are addictive?
You need to join Acronyms Anonymous!
Doesn't is also indicate that members of above group have recognized their miserable situation and are working on eliminating related 'substance abuse' ?
Actually, I found perdurabo's original thoughts quiet interesting --interesting enough to want to understand the whole story plus the subject title; it just bugged me that I had to go out and fiddle with search engines; just to end up with a slightly better guess.

Acronyms are like cryptic code: both save the author a few seconds of typing. The true expenses surface when the people on the receiving end have to deal with it. (I just made this up :-)
I first learned about Fear, Uncertainty, & Doubt early on in the FOSS vs MS discussion. In one of the articles I read there was a classic case of computer FUD: why we suffer power supplies in computer cases vs the perfectly good power supply from the monitor. It would be hilarious if it wasn't sad.
If your interested, and I can find it, I will send it along.
Thanks, I would be. _______________________________________________ EUGLUG mailing list [email protected] http://www.euglug.org/mailman/listinfo/euglug
