Hi all,
I'd like to backup my 20GB laptop's harddrive to my samba fileserver, but I've
been running into a 2GB limit. I can create a 3GB file with dd when logged
into the server via ssh, but trying the same thing over a samba mount gives me
a "File size limit exceeded" error. I've been googling, but I haven't been
able to find anything helpful. My main box is running Gentoo and my
fileserver is running Debian unstable. Both are recently updated

BTW, the laptop can be mounted via a USB connection from its cradle while it's
shut down, so corruption from backing up an in-use filesystem won't be an issue.

Thanks,
Christoph
