I did say it had it's hazards for the equipment! ;0) Although I did rig
a resister circuit to attenuate it by a factor of about 10 to help
reduce that. I found if I dropped too much lower I started to see
interference again if I had to transmit over a station. Amazing the
kind of things you do a a singleminded teenager who just want some
decent music in the car! Where i grew up the choices were , Country,
country, Country, Hip Hop, Country, Oldies, or Classical. If I was
lucky I might get a Rock Station from across Lake Michigan. And while I
like classical music I needed a bit more than that.
