Hal,
So then in order to count, you'd need to add in the money for the
serial adapter Bob had to build. That brings the total back to ~$60 I
think.

Other Cheap Linux boxen
-------------------------
Glomation is reportedly selling an ARM9 based SBC which comes with
Linux. ~$65 each at a qty>10supposedly.

A Korean Company named Gamepark makes an ARM based PSP-like system which
is Dual Core and runs Linux as it's native OS. They even offer an SDK
for it to the public. http://www.realtechnews.com/posts/2387

Linksys produces a NAS box which is IXP420 based and has had a full
blown Debian port to it. http://linuxdevices.com/news/NS6152296875.html

Aeronix used to make a device called the Zipit, which also ran Linux and
included 802.11g. http://linuxdevices.com/articles/AT8107883197.html

Can forget Gumstix, Whic has a purpose-built PXA255 based box starting
at $129.00 in QTY 1.
