By my calculations, the sidebar pixel area for displaying 4:3 on a 1920x1080 would be 238x1080 for each L/R bar -- this is a significant display area, even if one were to maintain some black border along the edges of the 4:3 region.  Has anyone done a "sideways terminal" without the latest XGL server?
