I have noticed this as well. I first noticed it when a recording on my Comcast DVR was for lack of a better work or explanation herky jerky. Then I noticed it on one of the news channels. Then what really kinda makes me upset is the hard drive in the box starts to make this really loud noise. This is the 1st Comcast DVR in Oregon that has had a hard drive problem. When I lived in Michigan I went though 3 in a years time.
