Try vnc2swf:

http://www.unixuser.org/~euske/vnc2swf/

There is a cross-platform python version,
as well as a pure X11 X version.

I'm curious about how folks think this stacks up :)

I don't know if anyone ever posted about this but I think it's great idea.

There are quite a few videos on how to do things in Edubuntu Linux.  There are
some good ones.  There are a lot of video's for edubuntu.  Dennis the author
uses an XP box with Demostudio and vnc.  He say's there not much out there
for screencasting.  Dennis mentions xvidcap.  Is there something like
Demostudio for Linux?  I think it would be possible to output the screen to a
tv tuner card and capture it using it.

Since I can't attend the EUGLUG meetings maybe someone can video the meetings
and post it on video.google.com.  There are some Lug's which have done this.
I would love it.  :-)

Enjoy
Tim
