Well yes HP is making another bad decision after they killed off the Alpha and are still in the process in killing off the PA-RISC chips. Basically HP sees virtualization ( Another 70/80's technology done on the mainframe and VAX-VMS ) as the future and they want you to be able to run Windows,Linux,HP-UX and VAX-VMS on the same machine if you want to. It's a cool way to convince small companies to get a 16/32 way system and partition it out via physical partitions or virtual partitions. I don't think this will ever work but it's a way for HP to try and steal business from IBM and Sun.
