I don't know how this is going to play out in the market.  What will
stop Microsoft from doing the same thing?  Do you think Apple or
Microsoft are going to support Windows?  I think it is funny that
apple has not enabled Linux binaries to run native on OSX.  I also
don't know how bootcamp is works.  From what I have read it is a boot
loader.  I would also be afraid of cross infection from one OS to the
other.  I think it will only be X amount of time before some one
writes something to do this.

I prefer to install Windows in a VM using VMware or Xen ( Use what
ever you like ).  That way the host OS is not affected.  Unless some
one has figured out a way to get around that.  I then use that VM as a
testbed or I guess the way I treat a laptop.  I don't have anything
important on it that I would not be able to reproduce and or have a
backup.  If I happen to get some virus or have a rootkit installed.  I
just delete the VM and restart with a base install image or reinstall
in a new VM.
