What about the converse, running Mac x86 binaries on Linux?
That would be stunningly useful for us Linuxheads.
It would be easy to teach the Linux kernel how to exec Apple's Mach-O
format, along with the 4 or 5 other formats it already knows.
Translating syscalls would be nontrivial but feasible. A quick and
dirty Userspace solution would be to throw all of MacOS into a chroot
and bind-mount /home inside -- that's be 90% effective.
Merging X11 and the Mac's graphics would be ugly...
