Anyone know of or have any experience with IP controllable power strips or battery backups? I'm looking for something that'll connect to the network and allow me to turn off individual outlets. It won't be connected to a computer to USB doesn't count. It's for the fish tank and I want to be able to control the lighting from a browser.
Example:http://www.dataprobe.com/power/ip815.html TIA for any insight, etc. Mr O. P.S. If you've got the inclination or experience to do a relay box and/or mod a power strip I could *if I had to* put a mini-ITX system under the tank. Build it for under $100 parts and time and I'll offer at least $150. Only thing is must be controllable via shell or browser. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
