You would have to say that! What NIC are you using?
Don't get me wrong. FC4 gets the windows file share, but sometimes it
takes for ever, if at all.
I think I\ll swap out a Netgear FA310TX for a 3COM 3C905C-TX and
reconsider FC4, if this

It worked fine with me using FC4, everything loaded perfectly without a
fuss. Samba worked perfectly too.
