According to gphoto2, the Coolpix 2200 is a PTP device. Linux doesn't
let you access PTP as a general storage device. Instead, you'll have
to use gphoto2 to read the camera.
Try these commands.
gphoto2 -L # list all files
gphoto2 -P # get all files
gphoto2 -f some-folder -p some-file
some-folder is a folder listed by gphoto2 -L. It's probably something
like /DCIM/100NIKON. Some-file is a JPEG file something like
DSCN1234.JPG.
You can also use a photo manager such as f-spot or digikam. Those use
libgphoto2 internally.
