I like and use SuSE a lot.
It certainly isn't the only distribution around, and it isn't
the best distribution for everything. (No distribution is.
That is why we have so many distributions.)
However, SuSE is good for a lot of things.
It is very full and complete, and very easy to use - even by
people who aren't "Linux geeks".
The desktop box I'm sitting at is running SuSE 9.2. I haven't
upgraded it, because I haven't needed to. My laptop is running
SuSE 10.0 and it works perfectly. Well, the laptop has some
hardware problems with the keyboard and mouse issues, so I use a
USB keyboard and mouse routinely on it and they both work just fine.
