I know at one time FreshMeat had a better site search engine. I don't know what they are using now. You do have a good point it does suck currently.

<rant> FreshMeat searches just aren't as useful as they used to be -- if you're logged into your FM account all is well, but whenever I'm visiting someone else's computer and trying to answer a quick question and show off how many suitable solutions exist in the open source space, often lesser-quality and obscure solutions are prominent... For instance: http://freshmeat.net/search/?q=bandwidth+monitor§ion=projects&Go.x=0&Go.y=0 says "Not logged in" where I should be able to sort by rating, which I find crucial. Hence, my use of FM (and some other OSDL sites) has waned in favor of the generalized search engine of the week. :( I'd like to see OSDL flourish -- why this apparent crippling, oh why? </rant> On 9/18/06, Michael Miller < [EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Bob, > > I would do a search on freshmeat.net under network traffic.
