Hey List! Most of you intellectuals are aware of this I'm sure, however there was interest at the last meeting (yes it was held!) for info about MIT's free online curriculum.
Here's what's currently being offered: http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/Global/all-courses.htm#ElectricalEngineeringandComputerScience I did the Network Security class (6.857) way back when there were only a few classes available from them. The whole concept was a real eye-opener. I see they've really expanded their video lecture library as well. The concept of open coursework is a massive collaborative effort (ocwconsortium.org) that is a study unto itself, and of course, is super-aligned with/to the open source community.
