But I don't want any waste heat... I'd like to minimize the "waste" by
putting it
into a heat pump... another input will be my propane forge, which is almost
built.

Cars:  just a temporary hang-up, I suppose... being out of regular work has
begun to change my attitudes, I fear in a somewhat back-stepping way.
By now I should be buying & selling other companies for breakfast and
buying "overcompensators" (high-end cars) for desert :)

oh well, who wants to hire a fool like me anyway, huh ;)

Here's an easy way.

Put your 'puters in a room with a door and a window.  In the winter,
close the window and open the door (to the rest of the house).  Waste
heat goes into the house.  In the summer, close the door and open the
window.  Waste heat goes out the window.  (But watch the ambient temp
in the room.)
