heh... yeah, I actually have plans on building a big UPS type thing in 
my RV... a few batteries, I have 1200W Inverter... should be enough to 
keep the laptops running a few days, but not much  more than that.

With enough car batteries, and wrt's (and dd-wrt!) a person could build 
a really large mesh wifi network out in the middle of nowhere :)
