At work I just got a DELL Quad Core Duo with Red Hat pre-installed.
There are a few Dell drivers in a dell directory you need to remember to
save off ( in case you rebuild they are not present on any CD I got )
but they do a pretty good job of knowing when to rebuild ( Kernel
updates and all ) . Drivers for sound, network, video, RAID Card ( I
got SAS RAID 0 and DUAL monitors it all works great ). The only thing
Id point out is it needs a floppy to load RAID drivers if you rebuild
and I didn't order with a floppy so had to Temp put one in.
So far its been rock solid and blazing fast. I Run Red Hat WS4 and
Windows XP & Vista on VMware and even under heavy work loads I don't
notice any slowdowns or stutters.

Due to the overwhelming requests on the IdeaStorm website, it looks like
Dell has been pushed into selling their computer with Linux installed.
