There are no motherboards that I've ever seen that have true Raid built into
them. The one _possible_ exception to this is real high-end server /
workstation boards, and even those often require a zero-channel card to have
real raid. If you're using onboard that claims to have raid, and it wasn't a
$500+ board, it's fakeraid.
