There are just SO many things you can do to flash storage to NOT
destroy the data, ha ha :)
So Larry, did it take a full wash cycle?  Dry cycle?  Hot water or cold?
Is the thumby a brand name, outdoorsy model, or what?? :)

Reminds me about people washing keyboards in the dishwasher... I've
heard a quick cycle and a nice careful drying works okay for many
keyboards... too much and the pc board absorbs too much water, just
like particle board... yech.  Anyway run an iPhone through the wash
yet?  As I understand it, they deserve it!!
