Sounds like a fun project for a Thursday LUG meeting, ventilation willing :)
Too bad my Thursday eves are wrapped up banging on bigger metal now...

I do have a solder gun & iron (iron is lower-power than gun, both are
weller iirc),
and would like to offer my tools and space on a case-by-case basis, and you're
"in", Mike, if you want; be in touch off-list.

regards,

Ben

PS - no cleanroom either, but there is space far enough away from the
forge to make it workably clean... on a more amusing note though, I
have to say that I have all these great mental images about Mr. O's
garage from all the fun banter here mentioning it... ever-regrettably,
steel has been weakening my attachment to silicon.
