Off-topic, here's an update on my Mac Mini Media Center. (m^3c?)

I got an Airport Express for its Airtunes (network audio output)
capability.  From iTunes, I can stream music off a Linux server,
simultaneously through the Mac's line-out and Airtunes.  From
FrontRow, I can only play through line-out.

I can play video, transcribed as described at the URL above, off Linux
in iTunes, but FrontRow can't play those videos.  I'm guessing that
mt-daapd has created incompatible metadata, but I haven't tracked down
exactly what's wrong.

I'm not just importing all the media files into iTunes because iTunes
doesn't let you export it again, and I don't want to maintain two
copies of the library.
