Also, this page is a necessary resource if you're trying to produce video for the Mac. http://www.mplayerhq.hu/DOCS/HTML/en/menc-feat-quicktime-7.html Off-topic, here's an update on my Mac Mini Media Center. (m^3c?) I got an Airport Express for its Airtunes (network audio output) capability. From iTunes, I can stream music off a Linux server, simultaneously through the Mac's line-out and Airtunes. From FrontRow, I can only play through line-out. I can play video, transcribed as described at the URL above, off Linux in iTunes, but FrontRow can't play those videos. I'm guessing that mt-daapd has created incompatible metadata, but I haven't tracked down exactly what's wrong. I'm not just importing all the media files into iTunes because iTunes doesn't let you export it again, and I don't want to maintain two copies of the library. -- Bob Miller K<bob> [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ EUGLUG mailing list [email protected] http://www.euglug.org/mailman/listinfo/euglug
