That's why we mention Euglug.org and put up links to the other
tech groups on the website! Then start leaving a decent looking
business in books at the very large bookstores in town as was
previously done with the linux comics from ages ago. It may even
lead to... are you ready.... a monthly meeting with a purpose!
ROFL. In any case, yeah cards sound good. I'm partial to the Tux
within Oregon picture that is currently the fav.ico. Add the web
address, the Eugene GNU, Unix, & Linux Users Group, and maybe an
administrative email address? Someone can at least give general
info to others in regards to meeting time and place and what/who
we are and encourage them to join the list. The administrative
email would NOT be for support. Google and the mailing list will
cover that.
We should discuss rolling out the test.euglug.org site to main,
work up an image for the cards and get quotes. I know a box of
1000 is about $30 at Office Depot. I frequently get coupons for
all the office stores and if the regulars each contributed $5 we
could easily cover the cost.
