Tough decisions? You mean like 'official memebership'? It'd
never fly. This LUG is random. Until we have an official 'home'
for meetings it'll probably stay that way. Sure, it'd be nice to
try and do a monthly event again sometime soon but we need to
come up with an agenda and solicit input on what people would
like to see. I think getting cards out there with our general
info would be a start at seeing how many people are actually
interested in linux and what they'd like to know. Part of that
is getting the website rolling and maybe do polls with comments
enabled and moderators to clean up any junk that slips through.
I know the wiki was ill maintained so not so hot of an idea.
Oh, and I should get all the schwag. :) Just kidding though I'm
willing to maintain a "bookshelf" for any donated books that
could be lended out for whatever time would be considered
comfortable. Monthly seems adequate. I only have one or two to
add to it but I know there's enough other books floating around
that have been donated and I don't know if anyone is maintaining
those right now.
