Thank you I am using devede now. it is easy to pick up.and the test video was much clearer then on windows. It has taken about 30 minutes and I have a DVD with menu and three different menu items with background sound I am converting to ISO. and the background Picture I converted in Gimp to a png, burned ISO in brasero.all in 30 :) I still cant believe good programs like these are free.
So I put the DVD I created in the DVD player hooked to my TV and play back was rolling Horz.sound was great and it would not play back in Ubuntu so I picked the wrong format to convert video to.but I was hurrying just to see how fast I could make a DVD with no knowledge of devede.And I have a nice coaster :) I bet if I slow down a little I will get a working DVD LOL.
