Ben, you've got to catch up to the times. The client OS will be open source (it's actually gentoo under the hood). All the proprietary bits will be hidden in the cloud. Also since this is google, they will use proprietary algorithms to examine everything you look at to better provide you with... Focused, Relevant, Advertising you want to see.
