We are currently seeking a PHP developer, a hands-on resource that would be responsible for designing developing and testing our web application components. Qualifications: * 5 to 7 years of web-based PHP development experience * Good experience with Linux, Apache and PHP (LAMP a plus) * Experience in interpreting designs done by other team members such as UML diagrams, object models, ER models * Strong understanding of web concepts such as session-management, transaction management, multi-tiered programming, etc * Exposure to Javascript libraries such as jQuery, Ext JS or other Javascript libraries -proficient in AJAX techniques * Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML and web services * Good experience with following programming guidelines and standards * Good experience with development best practices such as version control, build automation, continuous integration, etc will be a plus * Good understanding of software design principles * PL/SQL / Oracle experience will be a plus * SQL knowledge and relational database design experience will be a plus * Experience with health-care domain will be a plus * Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 4medica is an equal opportunity employer.
