I hope you're right.  The rollout of 2.0 was very disappointing.  Some of
the hardware never did work under Linux.  Even hubs, which should not
have had any compatibility problems.  So I think caution is appropriate.

There's no reason it shouldnt be ready. You approach native drive speeds (at 
least spinning drives) with USB 3.0. Just make sure it is a PCIe USB3 card. If 
there is even PCI it'd be crippled by the bus.
