Honeybee Robotics is already making one of their own
subsurface bots, and already has a grant from NASA. It’s mostly for Mars, but
its design is fairly compatible with Europa as well. They have done things for
NASA in the past, and aren’t small fries. As for the electronics - http://renewable.org/beam/list.php
Radio Shack should be adequate. It’s not that much precision metal work. The
only thing that may be required for precision CNC will likely be the jetting on
the drill bit, and mounting brackets for the PCB boards, motors, water heater,
battery, and pump. Or we could all just move to New York and work for Honeybee
Robotics. Robert Crawley Elite
