I could be the official 'keeper of the votes', and this would certainly be simpler. If a bit more tedious for me, which I wouldn't mind. But while it is extremely gratifying to see that you trust me to be the election committee of my entire self, I thought it would be extremely presumptuous of me to demand that everybody else have that level of trust in me.
