I may have misunderstood Marc-André.  What I thought he wanted was for
me to show the proposals to the world, solicit comments, and then
decide what was the best proposal based on my wisdom and years of
helping to organise EuroPythons.  Not only do I not want this
responsibility, I told the would-be proposers at a meeting at last
EuroPython that I would veto any incompetant proposals but otherwise
put things to the vote.  So I think that splendid trust you have
in me would evapourate if I didn't do just that.
