evparts and thezero.net both sell a Vespa clone that is a LOT of fun to
drive - and you can purchase individual component parts of it to convert
your Vespa. The controller's not that great, but the hub motor is awesome -
and the scooter has about 20 miles of range at 35 mph from a 48V 40A AGM
pack.

Rumor has it that one of these scooters has been outfitted with the 40A
version of the Evercels and the result was about a 60 mile range on level
ground.

Anyway, I test drove one a few days ago and whenever I win the lottery, this
will be my next purchase. ;-)
