evparts and thezero.net both sell a Vespa clone that is a LOT of fun to drive - and you can purchase individual component parts of it to convert your Vespa. The controller's not that great, but the hub motor is awesome - and the scooter has about 20 miles of range at 35 mph from a 48V 40A AGM pack.
Rumor has it that one of these scooters has been outfitted with the 40A version of the Evercels and the result was about a 60 mile range on level ground. Anyway, I test drove one a few days ago and whenever I win the lottery, this will be my next purchase. ;-) S. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Hastings" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, August 15, 2002 6:28 PM Subject: Electric MotorScooter > Someone mentioned a few weeks back about a vespa and converting it to > electric.
