Considering he wasn't taking notes, Chip's report is pretty accurate, but a
few errors crept in.

The Race car is a Formula Ford (1979 VanDiemen RF79).

The controller in the Scirocco is of course a Grizzly, not a Godzilla.

The battery boxes in the Scirocco are 22swg, pop riveted with 4mm steel
rivets at close centres. The boxes for the Skoda are mig welded 20swg.

The Skoda is a 1992 Rapid, which is the 2 door coupe version of the Estelle.
This was the last year the rear engine cars were imported to the UK before
the FWD Favorite took over.

I worked on Clare Bell's car four years running from 1996-99.

A big thankyou to Chip for all the kind words. He didn't mention all the bad
things I said about US electrical connectors!
