Induction?  I don't think so, not with DC.  Do you mean there's a ground 
fault, and you're seeing leakage current to the frame of the car?  

This is rare with VRR batteries unless they're very dirty, so it's more 
likely to be in the wiring.  It could also be in the motor or controller.  
Try disconnecting the traction wiring from both motor terminals, and measure 
again.  If the ground fault is still there, try disconnecting other 
connections working back toward the battery until it disappears.

What parts are you using?  Controller?  Motor?  DC:DC?
