That would have been nice, he didn't drop 2 seconds from his
quickest run, just dropped 2 from his first run of the day where he
held off and resisted pressing the tempting, nice and shiny white,
just asking him to press it, right under his twitching thumb, candy-like,
button. Without the button he ran 15, probably due to cold batteries,
and the unused extra weight of the boost pack. Pressing the button put
him back into the 13's.
I belive John may have won a world record running the 1908
runabout. I'm still reeling from the excitement of yesterday's fun
filled day. Damon was there, haven't seen him in a while, it was great
to have a chance to visit again. It's also great having Madman Rudman's
dad at all these events now. John Wayland's daughter "Scooter" seemed to
be having a great time riding around on the Heavy Metal Garden Tractor.
I had to leave a bit early, so didn't manage to attend the
award ceremony. Hopefully someone will post some details about it. I also
look forward to comments regarding the notorious Junior Dragsters.
