Richard; The red and green "NoCo" pads are probably better than nothing, and won't hurt, but you are much better off with a set of the *really goopy* red felt pads that come in a can (bulk). If you have to look for a rag after picking one of these up, they are the type I am referring to. The red and green "auto store" pads are basically dry, and won't give near the protection that the sloppy wet ones do.
