Thank you for caring . We are back together (I don't know why I moved so much stuff ) and I feel we will be closer then ever (15 year so far) . She has felt that I'm to rapped up with these EV's . I feel like I'm lowering life boats on the Titanic and she wants to dance as the band plays there last song. Its all balance but things are so out of balance on our plant that some of us feel we have to do something NOW . I was so happy that I found someone to drive the Mazda truck(don't know why it's not up yet) and was up late then getting up a 6 am to drive behind the lady in her SUV while she drove the EV to work . I then drove the ev back to her house so that after work she could feel safe driving home in her SUV. on the third day , she told me she couldn't do it any more without air condition because the morning air is so bad from all the morning traffic, I got very depressed. up down up down. I was cutting grass and my customers neighbor has this Triumph spitfire for sale . Been there for long time and I had been thinking about getting it and converting it and selling it . He was out in his yard so I talked to him (car in back now ) .Yes he wanted to sell it and we looked at it (little rust but nice interior) we do the "how much do you want" "how much will you give me" thing and in my mind I think I'm not going to play that game of trying to get it as cheep as possible but give him what I think is worth (wish it had a bad motor but it didn't ) So I tell him $500 and he is happy as a clam can be (up up up) .I tell him about my Porsche 924 and he say he has one right behind the tree .We walk over and there it is the same car as the EV Porsche I have now ( I am starting to think I may be dreaming) Now I'm talking about converting them to electric and he say I can have then both for $500 (up up up ) I'm telling him about my EV truck and we walk over to look at it . He them tells me he works for Florida power and light and they have a few of them .Yes the all electric ford ranger and the Toyota . I'm asking lots of questions and he doesn't know allot but they are the $40,000 NicHi?? bat models . He say they have some problems with them . what what ?? well here is the problem everything is 30 miles apart and with 50 mile range it tuff to go and get back ;- ( I ask about the drivers and are they driving conservatively ) " no they drive the piss out of them " what what what why how could this be? don't they find the new technology interesting ,don't they feel the environmental good they are doing and what about the pathetic sprite . He say they don't care about non of that they just want there pay check . Now I'm thinking about how hard I work to make something that will please the people and how I could never make anything as good as what they have (down down down)which the people that work for Florida power and light don't even like .I must be nuts to think of converting another car . Only sane thing to do is craw back into my hole and pull the dirt in over me ;-( . No hood ornament would fix this problem . Why don't people care???
