Also, if the beast is really 6000 lbs (heavy!) then they could even have a
second battery pack hidden in there. Why so heavy? If it was a 144v DC
coversion of the Delorean I'd expect it to weigh half as much.

A few items can be checked. First thier set up has a DCP Raptor, and a
DCP DC/DC converter. We can call Damon and find out what he sold them.
Since I helped design both items.... it's doubtfull that they have been
modified much.
So... there are limits we can identify. Also... There are some that
say
the "Tilly" box can make 300 to 500 amps at 144 when it's ON. OK, I
surely would like my LEM clampon to read that number of amps flowing
back into the batteries on a continuous bassis. In fact... with out this
basic test, the whole Scam falls apart.
In the line of not being TOOOOO caustic, I really don't want to know
what's in the box, just the results please. If the numbers support the
eveidence, THEN I get a bit more interested. Oh "in staying out of the
line of fire" and helping fellow EVers, we aughta help them in reducing
the Kwhr per mile driven. Getting close enough to help them out might
shine some much needed light in a dark place for them. A 9 incher and a
Raptor 600 at 144 is a nice package. Some brush adjustments, and kicking
it up to 156, a nice 4 corner aligment, and some MTL50 in the Gear box
could easly double thier range. They could do this and double the
effectiveness of the "Tilly" device in just a week of work.
The cryin' shame would be if they were convinced of their deeds, and
were not Scamming but just fooled by themselves.
If you note in thier photos on thier sight, there are Trace boxes
and
other quality names evident. Someone involved has some pretty good
insights into the electronics envolved. Which tips the hands to the Scam
side from the unknowing discover side.
I bet a PFC50 and buck enhancer would REALLY cut the recharge
time....But if thier box makes 500 amps into the battery pack... Well
there is no need for my back yard designed stuff that's just a paltry
%90 efficient. Now if I could get %900, then I would have something!!

Oh this is fun!!... as long as we keep the humor involved this is just
plain fun.

Oh yea Joe was pokin' some fun at me. I know how he was getting 90 amps
out from 8 amps of line in. Buck step down is a pretty simple concept.
So's transformer step down. Things look pretty impressive if you miss
the fact that the voltage is less. It sure is a nice way to beat the
SNOT out of a power stage. The meter sure does not spin as fast at it
does if you are sucking 50 amps from the line...
