Yes, it's a form of DC-DC (well, strictly speaking flying cap or any
storage device(s) for that matter is also DC-DC).

On their site it's shown as symmetrical bi-directional device,
which is not the case for trivial DC-DC.

I called them.  WHat I don't understand if the charging is done
one battery at the time sequentially, which would be unacceptable.

Does mk3 use inductors?
