According to http://www.mikeholt.com/free/poster.htm #6 THHN wire is only good for ~50 amps. 80 amps continuous should be wired with #3 wire according to the poster. I don't remember the difference in the ratings of SO cable relative to THHN in conduit. I was referring to Rich withholding the secret tweak to make the PFC-50 to run at over 80 amps.
