I thought I was quite clear on this, I was talking about power from the
outlet. I stated earlier in the post that I was talking about "from the
outlet". The entire post was talking about costs of running the EV
(hence the title). I buy the electricity at the rate it comes out of
the wall (well actually the rate it enters my house). NOBODY pays for
electricity at the rate it comes out of the pack.

When you are talking about the cost of electricity the ONLY thing that
matters is how much you draw from the wall, there are too many variables
between the outlet and the motor controller for power from the pack to
have any meaning.

The rest of that particular paragraph was talking about how much
electricity cost me per kw, I even related how the cost of my commute
went up because of this increase in power required.

Personally I don't see how you could have thought I was talking about
anything other than the energy requirements from the outlet. However,
if it would help you out I'd be happy to include the extra verbage in
every single sentence stating what I'm talking about in detail.
