Im a Bay Area resident learning to build a charger and searching for better parts retailers.
I am interested in building a 24V battery charger for a set of Costco deep cycle marine batteries(700CCA @ 95AH) Help and chpt 10 (B. Brant) says ~ Transformer, Bridge rectifier, Current regulator and Voltage regulator. does this sound right: Transformer = 24V @ 2.4A B. Rect. = 200PRV, 30A C. Reg. = 5A regulator V. Reg = ? ~ not sure (all via Jameco.com) question - I would like 5Amp or higher but I'm not sure where to get transformers in that size. Suggestions? Any good electrical stores in the Bay Area?
