The Back EMF is a constant resistance given a constant RPM on a series wound
motor and does not pulse.

In order to get the resistive effect to fade requires more battery voltage.
That is why higher voltage battery packs have become popular. It takes the
same amount of motor loop power to do the same work and since the battery
voltage is higher, the battery current is less.
