Great stuff! Thanks for doing the experiment. Torque limitations can be
overcome by gearing, but not HP limits. I'm just as pleased that the
passers by and shop staff were open-minded about the EV thing.

I wonder if a "traveling dyno" exists that could be transported to NEDRA
events...

The Siemens/MetricMind AC drive didn't put out quite as much horsepower
as the stock 2.5L 4cyl (not too surprising, it is designed for smaller
vehicles) but the torque curve (or lack of one) is neat.  The gearheads
at the performance shop were I made the runs were quite impressed.
