I'm a happy camper, the electrification of my garage is supposed to
start today. This means compressed air, a welder, an EV charging
plug... Thanks for all for the good suggestions in the past.

I thought it would be neat to put in an exhaust fan, put a tube (like
a clothes dryer) to suck air from near evil smelly things like
welding, drying paint, etc. and blow it outside. My contractor wants
to put in an attic exhaust fan.

After thinking about it, I realize this may or may not be the best
choice. Would such a fan still pull a reasonable amount of air if it
was sucking it through a 20 foot tube? Is there a better kind of fan
to use? My other thought is maybe I should get something portable
(like the guys that work done manholes) that has the fan on the other
end of the tube, and pushes air through rather than sucking it.

Anyway, I hope that is clear enough, any suggestions for me? Many
thanks.
