I think universal consensus is that EV sized cells do not exhibit 'memory'. There is much debate as to whether small cells exhibit memory or not (I beleive that they do, others think that 'memory' is actually dendrite formation) but I have never heard of a large NiCad displaying memory - in fact, I've never even seen 'memory' in D-cell NiCads, which I have used for a variety of purposes for many years. Then again, my NiMH cells also last 2+ years, which I understand is unusual. ;-) S.
