ive read alot of BS about tesla and over unity. I see several things poped up this year with tom van burean with a patent for a transformer as well as some french folks with some working on a similar princle and the aussie people with their generator/electric motor.
Jay Leno gave an interview with pop mechanics reguarding his 2 electric cars. He has a 1909 bakers electric and a 02 honda insight. He said the only difference is 10 miles improvement in the past 100 years, but the baker has reusable washable batteries. Ive also read about storing energy as my life depend on it and right now, not much can beat a battery. Maybe fuel cells or fly wheels, but both have their problems. Flywheels have that gyro thingie that would interfear with driving or being dangerous if it explodes and fuel cells are limited by FDA regulations because they would require the use of methanol. Yeah, I see some PDA chargers that are "fuel cells", but technically they are just big zinc air batteries. I screwed around with powering a light from a home made battery. I used copper and zinc plated wire for hanging pictures from the hardware section of kmart. Anyway, I was only able to light an LED with 2 cells. Although water worked, diet cola worked best. That woould be cool to have something that ran on water like that, but over time the metals would detorite. Maybe the solution to EVs is hybirds and battery traillers? Hey, what about that de=lorean experitment with the battery charger that was making more power then it used? Yeah, I know the rear wheel bearing failed. jeff richmond, va http://www.wheelchairmodifications.org
