This has touched something I'm working on. I've obtained a dead NG3 (ex Sparrow) with the intention of replacing the logic card with one of my own design. The idea is to be able to field programme the algorithm and for it to be able to interface with external devices (regulators, monitors, etc.)
Don't hold your breath, but I'm pretty keen to get this done. Does anyone know if there were more than one version of the control card? In my charger it appears to have thermistors (one on a FET and one on a diode) to detect overtemp. These have a resistance of approx. 50 ohm at room temp. The input circuitry on the control card cannot as far as I can see work with these sensors. I suspect that either the wrong sensors have been fitted, or the wrong control card.
