Wow, your frames are awful close to the terminals and fill caps.
You're seeing corrosion due to the inevitable acid weep/spray
coming out of the fill cap.  There's not much you can do, other
than neutralize with baking soda, rinse and keep it clean.  Putting
an oxygen barrier on the steel frame (bearing grease will work)
will slow down the "fluff" that forms.  I haven't had a set of
floodeds yet that didn't weep a little around the fill caps.
